THE BIG TECH RESISTANCE ✊
Alongside 7 other Nordic countries, the Danish government has just signed a “manifesto” calling for resistance against Big Tech (heavily motivated by worries over children’s welfare).
Digitalisation of Danish society has been like a rushed and mindless construction boom. Nothing wrong with “buildings”, but opportunistic frenzies leads to short-term solutions and asbestos in the walls. It’s high time for a rethink.
We can argue about the details, but for the broad picture: Sign me up.

We will continue work on national and European age limits for social media.
Hopefully at government level and not application level.
But yeah it is important to note that this is not "anti big tech" - this is 100% anti social media platforms and/or addictive algorithms.
